Casitas Springs Hat Knitting Pattern

This hat pattern was the result of a knitting emergency. I had a 3-hour meeting coming up at work, and I had forgotten my latest knitting project at home.

Luckily, I always kept a spare ball of yarn under my desk. I grabbed that ball and a set of needles from my purse, and I whipped up a chunky hat during that meeting.

This is a quick and easy knit, with just enough texture to make it interesting and fun. It will keep you cozy on a cool day, but is small enough that you can work on it during summer without overheating yourself (nobody wants to make an afghan in July, amirite?).

You'll need one ball of Loops and Threads Charisma or 110 yards of your favorite bulky yarn, as well as Size 10.5 US circular needles (16”) or Size 10.5 US double-pointed needles, a stitch marker, and a tapestry needle for weaving in the ends.

This beginner-level pattern is available for free on my blog, so you can also enjoy this quick knit that can easily be finished in an evening.
