Scenes from last night in my favorite room of the Scenes from last night in my favorite room of the house. There is technically an overhead pendant light somewhere nearby, but I hate turning it on so I don’t. Things are much cozier this way.
I almost always use circular needles for everythin I almost always use circular needles for everything, but there may be times where you either don’t want to use a circular needle or don’t have one available. When that’s the case, knitting a blanket can be tricky, but it’s not impossible. One option is to just knit a smaller blanket. It doesn’t have to be a king size blanket if you can make a lap blanket. Baby blankets could also work. Another option is to knit the blanket in strips and then seam it together. I’ve got an example of what that would look like in two of the photos in this slideshow. And finally, you can knit a modular blanket where you are knitting small pieces at a time and joining as you go. That’s what I’ve been doing with my mitered square blanket. I never have more than 35 stitches at a time on my needles, but I can make the blanket as big as I want. Got any questions for me? Let me know! I’m always happy to help.
