New Pattern Release: The Fading Flowers Hat

Earlier this year, I collaborated with the Sewrella Yarn team on an exciting project: a hat patern for their new fall lookbook. That hat, the Fading Flowers Hat, is out now!

Read on for more information about where to get the pattern, easy shopping links, pattern specs, and more.

Where to Buy the Pattern

The pattern for this hat is available on the Sewrella Yarn website and on Ravelry. Because this hat is part of Sewrella’s fall pattern collection, you won’t be able to find it in my usual online shops.

About the Fading Flowers Hat

The Fading Flowers Hat is knit in Sewrella’s Classic DK yarn, a worsted-spun 4-ply yarn made of 100% superwash merino wool. It’s springy and has beautiful drape.

The hat is knit from the brim upward, starting with a provisional cast-on that eventually becomes a double brim. The crown features spiraling decreases that look like a flower in peak bloom. Around the hat is a ring of flowers and leaves made from bobbles and a creative combination of stitches.

This hat is perfect for late fall and winter. Its double brim will keep your ears extra warm, while the DK-weight yarn means the hat is cozy but not overly bulky.

The yarn and pattern have been purchased, pattern downloaded but not able to print. Any suggestions? I'm going on a short trip and would like a printed pattern vs carrying the Ipad. Thanks, k

Thanks for buying my pattern! Unfortunately, I don't know the specs of your particular machines, so I can't offer tech support. I'd suggest checking the manuals and getting in touch with customer support for the manufacturers.
