A white woman's hands are crossed at the wrists, right over left, on a white marble countertop surrounded by antique paper ephemera. She is wearing a pair of yellow handknit fingerless mitts that are full of texture, including cables, coin lace, twisted ribbing, and bobbles nestled inside the cables.

A pair of yellow handknit fingerless mitts sits on an antique handkerchief. The mitts are photographed from a low angle focused on the bottom cuffs. The mitts fade away out of focus as the image moves toward the fingertips. The intricate texture on the mitts features coin lace, twisted ribbing, cables, and bobbles nestled inside the cables.

About the Daffodils in Sunshine Mitts

In springtime, the first warm days cause all sorts of greenery and blooms to push their way up through the earth and climb along walls. The cables on these mitts remind me of a trellis filled with clematis blooms, while the bobbles feel like fresh spring fruit. Because the sample is knit in such a cheery yellow color, these mitts are named for pretty springtime daffodils.

These mitts are graded to four sizes and feature a mix of coin lace, cables, and bobbles climbing up the back of each hand. They feature a thumb gusset with modified placement for increased comfort.
