About the Anacapa Scarf
This pattern is named for Anacapa Island, a very special island off the coast of Ventura County. The island is actually three small islets close together, and the large and small cables on this scarf are meant to mimic the effect of the tall West Anacapa next to the shorter Middle and East Anacapa islands. When seen from shore, these islets seem to change size and shape depending on the weather, the fog conditions, the heat, and so much more.
Venturing out to Anacapa is often a chilly voyage, so it’s smart to bundle up. A cozy, cabled scarf like this one is very helpful and will make the journey much more comfortable.
